Most agencies sound the same on the first call. These five questions cut through it — ask them of anyone you are considering, including us.
1. Do they publish their prices?
“Every business is different, let’s hop on a call” usually means the price depends on how much they think you’ll pay. Published prices are a sign of confidence and respect for your time.
2. Is the guarantee in writing?
“We’ll work really hard for you” is not a guarantee. A real one names what happens if they miss — in the agreement, not the sales pitch.
3. Will they name a go-live date?
“Results take time” is true, but it should not mean “we won’t commit to anything.” A real partner will name when your system goes live, even if results compound after.
4. Who works the leads after the click?
Most agencies stop at the click — they send traffic and forward leads to your inbox. The money leaks in the gap between a lead arriving and someone following up. Ask who closes that gap.
5. One team, or three handoffs?
If marketing, the website, and the follow-up live in three different companies, the plan changes hands at every seam. One roof keeps it accountable.
